    HELP!

    just skimmed my mates ceiling all went well.............. left it for 6 days and painted it with crowne mat emulsion again all went well.............. 2nd coated it today and when a rolled over a patch with the roller the plaster came off on the roller??? only a patch the size of a cig packet...

    can i have some advice please?

    when you've built a stud wall and skimmed it do you just put a line of decorators caulk at the top after skimming where the plasterboard buds upto the ceiling??? is there any need at all .... will it crack? or with the plaster act as a filler any way???? thanks for your help and advise.... cheers

    how long ????

    how long do you advise your customers to allow your re skims to dry before they can think about painting????? and is there better paints out there than others for this purpose??? speaking from experiance not very impressed with b and q trade "paint for new plaster" went on shocking and dried...

    the very best way once and for all!!!!!

    what is the very best to overboard a ceiling???? smash a whole each side and snap a chalk line all the way accross to see where the joists are.... which are always 400mm centres anyway ;) screw them up scrim your joints and skim away...... is there any better way / tricks / anything???? ???

    can you plasterboard over un even plastered walls???

    got asked this today by my brother in law.... we has solid walls in his bathroom and the bottom half is tiled.... all of which is solid but very un even...... as oppose to hack it all off could he just board over it ???? adhesive will stick to other plaster won't it and then maybe give the tiles...

    multi and bonding open bags but not fully used.... are they ok to seal bag well and use again.... or do you need to use fresh bags??? i've got half a bag of both in the garden shed.... can they be re used or after open is it use all or bin what you dont use???? ???
