I'm 28 and have had sciatica for years, at times one side of my leg and foot goes numb. Had x-rays but all come back clear no sign of collapsed discs or even arthritis. Got an MRI scan and my nerve is running between two muscles in my behind. So when the swell I get sciatica fun times

Yeah I did the same the ryobi paddle didn't last got a 135 negative paddle for it could mix a bucket in seconds. The ryobi I had was dearer than the eibenstock

My old faithful ryobi PMT 1362 decided it had enough today. So I've went and bought a 1000 watt eibenstock. Wishing I had something to skim right now lol.

Any1 else notice since the new 6 months shelf life in finish, there hawk ( handboard ) arm is itchy/dry? I'm near sure this is the cause, because me and the fella I work with have both got it since the shelf life change. They Must have put peroxide in it lol

Are you using multi finish? Worst stuff I've ever used! Cleaning the trowel after every 1 or 2 swipes with a shallow angle should prevent that nasty tiger from appearing [emoji33]

Happened to me yesterday, I found cleaning the trowel more often and less angle on trowel sorts it out.

carlite is good to work with just a bit slow at going off, find myself spending more time looking at the walls than troweling them lol. if i use carlite it comes from the dublin factory, i beleive, and havn't had any issues with how it mixes or when im throwing it on

never used knauf, where do you get it from? jp's dont stock much ultra, you probably got some old bags. you ever used the multi out of b&Q? i stopped using it 2 years ok, just didnt get on with it.:RpS_thumbdn:

ultra finish all the way, multi is crap, carlite is good but too slow to go off, plus its got a bit expensive at £8 or £9 a bag

hey guys, Just wondering if any of you guys used 'ultra finish'. Alot of the merchants here in n.ireland seem to sell them. I have been using it for about a year now and I don't think I would ever go back to carlite (red bags) or multi (orange bags). This stuff sets about 30 mins quicker and...

@carlos, they do if you not used to impact drills, but you can get a depth stop beat that stops that from happening.

I have a Makita impact for the last 4 years, best tool for boarding. if you have the money get the autofeed, but get the corded one. i have the 14v 3.0Ah one and its no good

heard someone using 1 part water 2 parts uni-bond, handfull of bonding and handful of cement. apparently it gives a really good key and you skim over it straight away as it dries within 15 mins
