    Cheers for your reply mate yeh a mate of mine done his bay on his house and pretty much scratched his straight away and under certain light you can see these same smoothe lines like bald patches if you like You think these are hollows? Would sbr with grit in do the trick?

    Yes as I've never used filler over silk paint I've seen it over a chalk based matt and sanded in nice but not silk.

    Yes thanks mate I was just curious what other lads think on it. I've always had the membrane behind the insulation and stud but I've seen it go on top of the insulation and stud too..just ordinary polythene and this was to regs! Surely if the warm air hit this it would just condense?
