Morning everyone,

As I have mentioned we have a range of new tools coming onto the Market. The first being a new range of trowels from a company called Nela in Germany. We are working closely with Nela and are becoming their UK Distributor for these trowels.

A few points on the trowels:

100% Made in Germany

5 Year Warranty on the trowel - only with normal use obviously

2 Handles available: BikoGRIP Cork or BikoGRIP Soft

Long beveled Edges

Die-cast aluminium mounting made from a special alloy

The blade is made from a hardened, stainless chrome steel which allows more flexibility and durability

Who do we want to review these trowels:

We are looking for honest, day to day plasterers who will give a fair review on the product. Not just people wanting a freebie.
If you are a big fan of MT or other manufacturers trowels then this is definitely worth a look.

We are offering 6 Trowels out for reviews, 3 of these will come with the BikoGRIP Soft handle as well as the cork one.

The trowel size being offered is: 14" x 4.75"

If you are interested in writing a review on this product please comment below and give us a reason to pick you :RpS_thumbsup:

Thanks,

Ryan

nice looking trowel what will you be selling them at? i would to test one for you but i spend more time reading about plastering these days than doing it :-(

Prices will be revealed soon. I have mentioned prices on other items which we have asked to be reviewed and that always comes up, we just want to focus on the quality of the trowels at the moment

look good to me, 5 year warranty says it all really ,so must be very confident about quality, only concern I have just by looking at the picture is what purpose do the holes on the handle serve surely only a matter of time before it gets clogged up with plaster, that aside looks okay, you should send one up here to Carlisle to me spread them about the country,

Holes are only 3/4mm deep. Only for the image I think mate

Of course you can bet I will give a none bias review however obviously it will take a couple of weeks to bed in and gauge a true feel for them :)

Are these similar to the s*p*r*lex? I would love to try one on mp finish/bg spray finish. Im also thinking they would be good on the pre mixed gear.

They do look like a quality trowel from the pics

I use refina, so would be happy to compare. they look nice and as I said earlier being german they should be very good.. at the moment I use the refina 16'' for skimming and 14'' for rendering...

Id be happy to review these for you, i would give an impartial review as with all my posts, If i like it I would buy it if not happy to send it back cant say fairer than that.

I'll test one. I've just got used to the refina although still not 100% convinced so would be good to try a competitor. different trowels work for different people so this could be perfect straight out the box for me. like the s*p*r*lex has been with others

be hard to beat the refina ( not s*p*r*lex ) used mine straight from box, use it everyday and its superb..

I would be up for it , ive used marshalltown for the last ten years , i would be good to compare the 2 makes , i have not used any other makes though . They look like nice trowels . Hopefully somebody is looking down on me today ! I am skimming for the next month or so and would love to try it out :-) either handle will do me im not fussy :RpS_thumbup:

Are they as flexible as the Rafina . Used M T for years then went onto the Kraft trowels, at the moment I,m using 14" Kraft to put on then Rafina flexi to trowel up with .Will gladly give one a try, and post revue
