That’s what I thought at first but defiantly Didn’t scratch it that far back. The circle part just seemed like it had set faster and couldn’t get a scratch on it. Just couldn’t figure out why

Can anyone tell me what has caused them 2 circles? rest of the wall rubbed up fine. It all had a base coat first, then 2 layers of Weber! them 2 circles just wouldn’t scratch up.

Unfortunately it wasn’t 13c this morning where I was in Birmingham, was f**k**g freezing until about 12 o clock

Iam using the one coat Weber Render next week, I normally put it on about 3 o’clock in afternoon, cover it all up and scratch it up early the next morning. If I used render accelerator And I have got it all on at 10am, realistically what time will it scratch up? What’s the best accelerator to use?

I have Used it a few times on some badly cracked walls. Never had any issues

Yep. Happened to me few years ago since then always cut them out and Then stick the new beads on and fill!

Re skim it! Give it a Good few coats of pva mix. And defiantly don’t do it all at once this time!!

That was like selco the other morning with a few pallets of board finish aswell, went back after work all gone except half pallet of board finish

I had a wooden beads crack few years ago went back and sorted it. Since then I have always cut them out, stick metals beads on with bonding, let them set properly and fill them out.

Very fine file on the nick! Only file down the 1 side of the trowel tho. (Plastering side)

Someone told me it cost around £300 to get tested then a lot more to get rid of if there’s asbestos in it.

Use your Marshall town to get it on and flat then finish with a refina super flex 16” easier than finishing with a marshal town. Refina takes couple of weeks to wear in but when it is it’s nice!

Ye mate I agree, If you start putting it on thick in places than others it’s seem to not like it. 2mm thickness all over. I haven’t gone straight over artex with it, I gave a artex Ceiling a tight coat of bonding, then skimmed onto the bonding.

Na mate 2 coat as normal, didn’t all show through, just happened a couple of time’s in a couple of patch’s. So from then I have just filled out to make sure

Ye if there’s any hollows fill them first aswell, no don’t Need to let first Coat go grey. Once everything filled let that pull in for 15, then treat it as BG then once you have given it a flatten or 2 after 2nd coating so it basically looks finished, wait till it all changes colour, flick/spray...

Ye same process, just make sure fill out scrim and beads first, specially the orange or blue scrim because sometimes can show through the white finish

2nd batch basically is mate. They have just massively f**k*d up with that first batch, now most people are put off because how horrid that first stuff was. They need to turn it around some how cus they will f**k it off because they ent selling enough and then every1 will be relying of BG again!

It was fine for me mate I just treated it as if it was BG. Worked the same. Just a good flick of water when it changes to a grey colour.

Apparently the how to video was meant for the new formula! And the formula got messed up somehow hence the first batch being shite. With this new formula that’s out now follow the how to video and u can’t really go wrong

Wet it up with brush to get rid of any dust, use bonding coat to fill in hole and bring it out to thinkness of the wall. When it’s dry put skirting board on. And if the skirting board doesn’t cover all the damage area use some easifill then sand it
