Yep got it for smaller mono jobs and spraying basecoats. It came up second hand with skim set up. Never used that tho I can't get my head around spraying finish enough to be arsed getting it all out van and setting it up.

I got a second hand m200 aswell. Had the same thing when spraying parex. The needle on back pressure was jumping about a bit so nipped up r n s and it cured it for a short time then I got a new r n s and haven't used it since. The k4 has been getting used on every job since then.

Not using accelerator but I may do when I go back to it. Got shite weather here at the moment. Hard to get 2 decent days together! Don't like using accelerator thru the machine at all tho much rather do next day.
I don't care anyway tho I'm gonna f**k that s**t off and start using fassa. Bored...
The rep said a tenna a meter render only. They tried it on at 20 a meter then it ended up being around 13-14 after I argued it. Soooooo I don't care how good it is. I int using it

Iv sprayed it with my k4. Went through really nice then they tried to charge me double what the rep said it costs. So Iv never used it again.

It's not an eze gun it's just normal gun with a material shut off valve. Took that straight off after cleaning machine out! More hassle then it's worth..
@Plasterers1StopShop have you got m200 r n s in stock?

Had a few black bits today when I was scraping back some k1. Still sprayed well but I used a different gun today with material shut off valve and pressure backed up into the mixing chamber and It got blocked up.
I had to clamp the r n s other day as the pressure gauge was jumping about and we...
Des is awesome, he drove over to Norwich when k4 wasn't working I think same day and got it sorted and never had a problem since.
What material have you ran through m200?

Because they were using it for tough coat on some houses whatever that is. Think he brought the machine from someone second hand aswell who had slipped a disc in his back then they done them houses then went back boarding and skimming so had no use for it. All my work now is based on machine...
Well I'm waiting for some disappointment and stress you'd usually get from buying a second hand pump with no training but it's not happened yet!!!

Yep went through very well.
Speed 4, 260 water, 15m hose and it was 12 bar.
Pressure was jumping a bit so tightened the rns up 1/4 turn and it was fine. Never had a clampable stator before so that was new too!!

Iv used it. It's crap!!! Well it's crap to use. And once I'd rendered it with more fixings in then specified it cracked around windows. Fully meshed in uf fibre base coat aswell!!! Never again for me...

I like the k4 best at the moment. I sprayed some parex today for the first time using the m200 for the first proper time and it went well really so I'm sure once I get used to the m200 ill have as much faith in that as I do the k4.
K4 hasn't let me down once since i had a few teething problems...
Iv got a k4 n an m200. Spoke to Dave at P1ss earlier and he explained it all to me. Basically said if it pumps leave it alone dunno if I like the idea of it tho if an r n s goes halfway through a gable end

Do any of you guys do pressure tests on your r n s to see if it needs changing or tightening before setting machine up?
If so how do you do it?
Cheers

Total thickness should be 15-16mm. What's the back ground? We always use hpx base coat at 5mm with mesh and scratched for base coat then k1 top coat at 12mm scraped back to beads to get 15mm. If your plasterer wants to do 8-10mm base and 10mm top coat you're going to need 20mm beads

SAS phoned me yesterday to say I could order direct from them for next day delivery. Sent me a price list too. 15mm beads are around 2.20-2.45 per bead apart from expansions which are more

I have 2 butts full one connected to machine and the other not then get labourer to bucket the water from one to another to keep it topped up then he lets me know when it's getting low then stick another half a butt in if we need it. Been spraying between 60 n 70 bags with 2 n a half butts full...
Just get a water butt full of water and bang 2 tubs of wickes in and use that water for mixing. That's what we have been spraying k1 with over hpx base and I can't believe it when I get in my van at 4pm to go home and it's only been 10 degrees with no sun

We are meshing as we go aswell so that slows us down a bit and it's making more mess then I'd like but it's better then carrying all that shite up the scaffold and it's saving wear and tear on the spreading arms!

Rite iv had a few goes at it and it's definitely better then troweling it on. Iv made it wetter and it's a lot better to spray but how do I get it to spray more of an open fan so it stops slumping down the wall before I get a chance to put a trowel over it. Will a bigger spray cap do this? I'm...
I don't normally spray basecoat but had a bash at it today as I was on my own. It was hpx it went thru the machine fine but it wasn't coming out of the gun very well. I tried moving the air backwards and forwards but it didn't change it much. I think I had the gear a bit stiff but what size...
Hpx is all we use cos that's what k rend spec but it kills the suction I think.
K1 is always a slow setter. I wouldn't try a same day scrape with it yet. Never used accelerator in it. It's great in the winter but shite for the summer! Takes forever to get the bar on it in the summer. Trying to...
We started spraying at 1.30 Tuesday with k1 silicone over hpx finished at around 3pm. Came back at 6.30 and it made me suicidal trying to bar it back
