I see on the news that B&Q are opening more stores now, and Taylor Wimpey are opening back up on 4th May. Once companies like that are back at it that'll be lockdown over.

I've just had a text from bq saying same albeit with reduced hours, facilities & supermarket measures

Each to their own

I don’t get what people need the money for, food and bills. Anyone doing plastering not taking home 800-1000 a week is in the wrong game or a gambling addict/ Coke addict , how can you not have money tucked away.
Take the morgagate holiday to ease the cash flow situation at the moment and if ya morgagate goes up £10 a month buy you got money to survive and pay off ya other bills that’s what it’s there for.
That is absolute nonsense. You can’t generalise like that.

Il go back when I can get a Macy ds that's my moral compus and not a day before!

Unlike @JessThePlasterer scab!!!

Though got to be said at least shes been consistent unlike @owls Wow biggest u turn in history been full of it and now 1st man back!!!!

Looks like an 11th of May start back for most in this game going by what's currently being said by Gov't, companies and advisers. I'll aim for that and see how things shape up with announcements etc.

Yep I agree...though I do like @owls so I'm trying my hardest not to go in DRY on him!!!

I said at the beginning this time around the recession will hit the people as hard if not harder that are juggling big figures around than those just trying to make ends meet.

And I think this is the case on his defence but yep hes certainly U turned!

Thsts why @JessThePlasterer has always been my favourite scab coz shes a scab from the hood! X

He seems a solid guy..but hes scored a own goal here,I'd be saying same if it was ash and robbo, them 3 have been main advocates of staying off and slating lads,or and you zombie..but deep down I know your trying to get in when uve sourced materials;)

Yip i do agree owls did a hand brake turn, called me a doomsday poster, dont hold it against him, most stuff here is good banter.
But most of my thoughts on the economy were correct a month ago,the figures now published prove it.though im reading housebuilding might not take a hit that i thought, hope they are correct.think everybodys holding there breathe to see if general public want us domestics back in or you will be told no go for over 70s.
But can you see yourself booking a holiday, going to pub, restaraunt, marching down the high st.sitting in a perspex box on the beach.and the end of the day everyone sees it different until facts are there. This situation aint gonna fix itself any time soon.

To quote Mike Tyson "Everyone's got a plan until they get punched in the face." which about sums up rules, principles, fights and any other sh1t you can think of. (y)

We'll be like porn stars during the Aids epidemic, you'll need to be tested and certified virus free to be able to work. :ROFLMAO:

They’ll make us take the vaccine. They’ll find any way they can to inject us with whatever shite is in it.

I honestly dont know what to say on the matter.

I dont see how sites can be all over the top with helmets, goggles, gloves, no eating etc etc etc

But then ignore goverment guidelines on Corona virus, the mind boggles.

There really is alot if confusion out there now.

The goverment need to improve there message what it actually is or its going to all go to tits very soon I think!

Correct.

Doesn't cost the site anything to be a knob about smoking or radios and all that shite.

Costs em dear to shut though doesn't it? Bit different when the boot's on the other foot.

People shouldn't be out working because even if you're on your own, you're still buying petrol, lunch, materials etc.

The PM begged people to stay at home and anyone who's taking the money and working is a complete prick because that's flat out scabbing.

Still, if people are experiencing pressure of the kind that goes 'oh well, I'll get Charlie Mcfarley to do it instead', then the government has to take some of the blame for not being clear enough.

Probably import a couple of container loads from China and a few truckloads from Italy to keep things going.

100% agree

That said what would you do if your landlord top man that provides you with say 90% of your work turned around and said.

"Steveio if your not prepared to fall back in line I'm going to have to bring in another caretaker and give him a contract"

Then multiply it by you have staff & overheads!

That's why it should always have just been a full lock down to stop the snakes coming out from woodwork!
