I had to buy him pva
I had to buy it all!
He left a mess around the frame
And stuff stuck out wall!

The only sensible advice
Was from a girl named Jess!
After reading all the others
Hers really was the best!

Everyone else needs sectioning
I doubt they could get themselves dressed!
The replies, banter and sing songs
Have all sent my head west!
 
Wouldn’t say hers was best,
But more normal than the rest.
This forum paints a picture,
That plasterers heads are a mess.
They won’t answer questions, and mock strangers posts.
They laugh at your problems,
And have less sense than most.
Ignoring things that you point out,
And spamming the page with arguments about it being Clout.
I realise now, I’d be better asking mother,
For she has more banter, and more sense than the others.

Now I wish ol’ @Danny would close this stupid thread,
As I’d like to keep any brain cells left, firmly inside my head.

Well to be fair, how the f**k are we supposed to know what a bit of stringy stuff sticking out of your wall is?

Best bet is to pull it and see what happens.

Or ask the fella who put it there.

I’ve seen plastering being done a few times and can’t think what this could be? I even sent this picture to the plasterer who said he can’t see what I’m talking about and doesn’t know what it could be/what I mean. “

I think that answers both of your ‘points’ there.
I did pull it. It’s stuck.
I did ask the guy who did the job. He doesn’t know.

So silly little me thought, as with other tradesman forums, people could post jobs and ask advice/opinions from the people in the trade. Hence me asking if some plasterers use netting, mesh, thread? Or if anyone had any idea what this might be. Silly me for thinking I could ask that question. Or that people, like you, would read the full post and not put a snotty comment telling me to do stuff that I already mention I’ve done.

Seen it done. Bosnia, we were using bottled water. Crates of it fcukign everywhere.

The colonel called us together and gave a little speech. He said that the water would never be rationed, but we should use it wisely. He had the hump because he was finding half bottles in the bin and so on, after people had cleaned out their vehicles.

The minute he gave his speech, he walked round the corner and straight into come civilian contractors pouring it into a cement mixer.

He was not impressed.

Luckily I’m not that much of a mong that I’d pull something embedded in plaster. Sorry to spoil your fun @Stevieo.
And I’m fully aware he can see it and knows what it is. We established early in this thread that he’s a t*t.
