First coat, need some advice as i am concerned (long post)

That’s what brought me to this forum in the first place, a big-money job that I questioned whether it had been done correctly and i was searching for some professional advice. The replys seem to suggest i was right to halt the work. Could have been done by now and scaffolding gone. Yet still in limbo with no finshing date. :(

Ive had people ive never seen before. or spoken too stop me in the street and say "nice job" "your doing well" We live in a cut through so always people walking past. Ive had 4 people ask me to quote for some work on there house, all declined as its not my main job.

I don't believe this is something that should be done in two halfs, but seems next door are intent on getting someone round and i can see it getting very petty. All because i asked them to contribute towards the costs to date. Hope nextdoor are not reading, they have been begging for photos, clearly to send over to get quotes. We did not reply or react to there texts.

Carry on regardless...

I had to strip the top of the gable scaffolding, carry it down two ladders and then back up the front two ladders. Just to give me a platform to work off, this took the best part of the morning.

Our two unused pots off.( heavy) So many roots, can see the perps have just disintegrate just dust and roots, badly weather damaged, but not suprised give how badly cracked the crown was. The brick work was damp to the touch, once this had been removed.

And thats it for this week, rain due for next few days with 45mph winds. so its all wrapped up now
If the neighbours want some photos, tell them they can borrow your ladder and scaffold. Just this once.
Wankers.
