I am on the process of upgrading my kitchen and part of this is to reskim the walls.
The internal walls appear to have been rendered with sand and cement and then plastered over. There is a small area we're the render and plaster was blown (the cause has been fixed) and I've taken it back to were it is solid.
The plan is to add new sand and cement to bring the previously blown section level with the rest of the wall and then apply a multi finish plaster over the whole wall. Im planning to use pva before applying the new sand and cement, and will also pva for plastering.
Any views on if this is plan will work, or if I should approach this differently.
