Nothing wrong with the box, they told me it works fine, said they are too nervous to keep it as you can hear grit inside it and they think it could affect the wiring.
 
All joke aside dont pay lodan..there shudnt of had them fitted b4 u finished..end of not even a argument point on there side

How can you hear grit inside it ... tell em to keep shaking it and then it will be broke ... funniest thing ive heard lol
 
Why not go round to the job and disconnect the box remove the grit and not pay anything if you do that you've saved yourself £250 do it and there's no grit in the box you've made em look a pair of T***s either way it's a win win

I don't understand how they have heard the grit/dust inside if they haven't picked it up and shook it themselves surely they defo trying it on

They say when the shake the box you can here grit/dust inside it...it was bagged up but we pulled down an old lath ceiling down on top of it, including the 100 years of soot and shite that comes down with it
 
Do in your hole pay it. It's actually annoying me even thinking your going to pay it. U need balls to run a business. U can't bend over and take it up the hole that easy. I had a bloke try and blame me for braking his tv once. I told him to take the tv over to my house as I wasn't wasting diesel driving over to his house to have a look. I never seen or heard from him again.

Can you just take the facing off the box... I dont have virgin so dont know

How do you know it wasn't rattling before you took the ceiling down? The other 2 boxes are ok.
 
Making me laugh now that they have dreamed up a scam to claw back some money then shook the box and thought there is defo dust in here hmm think that's about 250 quid back they call tradesmen chancers well now you met a a chancer customer

I moved a Christmas tree through a door and all the ballbuls fell off and broke I didn't tell them or pay.

Shouldn't of left the tree there

They sound it pal .... find it bizarre ... its working yet they can hear grit ... only way your doing that is shaking it or man handling it 'looking' for something .... doesn't surprise me they are well off and trying something on for money ... always the way with people like that
