That is a really good deal!!!! Refina are doing the mm30 for £454 inc vat including £100 of free tools (you'll have to check if that offers still on). I like the peace of mind of being able to return it to Refina and not back to either Germany or someone small acting as a middle man in the uk.

He hasn't flattened his first coat in and it looks like you can feel that ridge on the first pic!!!!! Shut your eyes and try it. If you can feel it you will def be able to see it when painted. Get him back, put some sandpaper in his hand, shouldn't take more than half an hour! Ha

i can't believe you lot dab on to original plasterwork. Surely if the skim comes away from the base coat the whole lot (inc your dab and boards) will end up on the floor. i'm in the process of buying a mid-terraced house at the mo. was thinking about leaving original plaster on, battening out...
