Got a small domestic job to price where two flats are separated by single skin brickwork do sound travels through.
Have told him best option would be to install a stud wall independent of brick wall, using sounds batts between studs and board with sound lock or even just double board it with half inch. This would loose him 4-5" off the room which he says is ok but wants to know if there was another option that wouldn't infringe on the room as much.
Anyone got any other ideas?????
