You can actually replace the handles. I've had to do this before after I lent my trowel out to some guy with long nails (well it looked like a guy) to find it had what looked like teeth marks in it. Couldn't touch the handle again after that: couldn't bear the thought that someone had violated my trowel in a way that was unknown to me.

Only kidding Nisus. I'll start taking orders for them when I learn how to make one. They're pretty complicated looking though and it would be a lot easier if that box was square. From the photo's, it looks as though there are loads a nooks and crannies to cut out.
 
I still reckon they belong to a salesman and someones on the wind up here. If those trowels are used my rocking horse has a wooden dick!!!!!

Trust me, it's got nothing to do with a salesman. I haven't offered to sell any trowels, boxes or rocking horses.

Don't know if it's my computer screen but looks like a crack down middle of ceiling. Apart from that very nice mate.

Thank you Stuart. It's a suspended wooden feature for the spots. I skimmed around and underneath it. The crack that you can see is where the two sheets of MDF join.

Andy seemed to think that I was serious about the "menial" tasks post when I was only having a laugh.

The photo's were to show him the quality of my work. Nothing more, nothing less.

You're hard to impress Zombie. All angles were clean and sharp. Walls were smooth. No filler anywhere. What more could the client ask for?

I don't remember claiming to the best plasterer in the world and I'm not here to amaze anyone either :RpS_biggrin:

I don't remember being rude to anyone either. So is there a reason why people seem to want to have a dig at me?

hi minh....apologise if my comment seemed a bit short...yep fair doos as you say all looks nice and tight mate....

all that said there could be misses all over...tigerstrips...waves... skirting lines all over etc etc etc

and lets be honest who could possibly tell from these sort of photos from distance.

Okay, back on topic, what I like most about the small trowel box is that he's cut a recess for his hawk/handboard :)
