My husband and I are currently going through our project and have come to the stage for the plastering. However we have ended up with a bumpy and strange finish. The builders tell us that they are going to fill it but to us it seems a lot of work?
Both of us are not plasterers or builders so just require some advice please? so we understand what we can say.

I have attached some photos

it’s every wall in the house :(

tha you

What do you think has happened? The plaster has gone into new boards and it’s ended up like this. How can this be rectified? Advice would be great as my husband and I are devastated

Here are some more photos? It’s every single wall

I don't even know how they've achieved that tbh

I would guess that the plasterer let the builder down and he thought, how hard can it be??
and had a bash hisself
The only way forward it’s a reskim by a plasterer

Looks like close up pics of the moon! Terrible. As stated above needs re skimming. Could be poor trowel technique or improper use of plastic trowels used too soon? Get another reputable plasterer in, don’t let the builder pull the wool over your eyes.

Abdel, I'm still not entirely convinced this isn't a wind-up, but may I ask what country you're in? (relevant in terms of plastering technique and expectations)

I've seen property's like this in Spain!! If this is in the uk on to plasterboard you've got big problems!! Best you can do is get a plasterer (another one) to feather edge bonding over it and reskim it!!!

Yeah, hence my question about which country it's in, but that was totally ignored. I doubt it's the UK.

Either that or some chancer's sprayed it on and walked away without using a spat or trowel on it, and that seems extremely unlikely.

Looking at how bloody attrocious that surface is, my best guess would be that the plaster was applied using a tyrolean flicker :endesacuerdo::

Plastering advice please
