The war in Kosovo (part of Yugoslavia back then) was between ethnic Albanians (mostly muslims) who wanted to break away from Yugoslavia (mostly christian) and the Yugoslav army. Yugoslavia was not an ally of the UK and the UK didn't invade. NATO (which the UK is a member of) sent in peacekeeping forces to save ethnic Albanian lives. NATO also bombed Yugoslavia to try to end the war.
To summarise, NATO was not fighting ethnic Albanians in Kosovo.
