Renovation of bathroom

Hi. Could anyone give me some advice please. Starting to redo my old bathroom. Removed some of the tiles. And the wall underneath is very uneven and the old plaster is crumbling and very fine. Can this be saved and plastered over ready for tiling or would it be a case of complete removal and re plastering throughout. Thanks in advance.

Thanks. Wanted to see what was behind. Take it I can just board this up now and tile it? Is it best doing dot and dab? For the boarding or drilling in?

I’ve had those before on a bathroom job. Can’t remember the proper name but like those hollow terracotta blocks you see on building sites in Spain. PITA anyway.

If they’re not falling apart then you can just dab over them.

Hello. So we are starting to get into a little bit more commercial work than usual. What are some problems anyone on here has had experience with when it comes to sticking to commercial codes. Anything and everything you can think of to give me a heads up on issues you didn't plan for or think about in the past for remodeling commercial bathrooms....

Risk assessment and method statements PITA
failure to meet deadline is not an option
Last trade still in your way, next trade trying to get in early

Just make sure to wear your "lucky pants" on the very first day and you really won't go far wrong in any respect....
There's really no thanks required mate !.... I see it more as a public service ... these days anyways.
