Hi. Could anyone give me some advice please. Starting to redo my old bathroom. Removed some of the tiles. And the wall underneath is very uneven and the old plaster is crumbling and very fine. Can this be saved and plastered over ready for tiling or would it be a case of complete removal and re plastering throughout. Thanks in advance.

Thanks. Wanted to see what was behind. Take it I can just board this up now and tile it? Is it best doing dot and dab? For the boarding or drilling in?

I’ve had those before on a bathroom job. Can’t remember the proper name but like those hollow terracotta blocks you see on building sites in Spain. PITA anyway.

If they’re not falling apart then you can just dab over them.
