yes I would if there’s no damp issues

You are a plasterer who knows his job . If you would use hardwall then who am I to tell you different .I would still use sand and cement.

Similar to above, I avoid S&C internally if poss as it is such a cold surface.

Why?

Surely the depth of the thermal insulation and the plaster will be too thick. I’ll probably encroach on my stairs and the skirting. From brick to skirting, I’ve got around 15/20mm to work with.
