Done some work for a builder once who wanted every screw head in the house scrimed over, totally ott , I could understand it if we were still using clout nails, they used to pop all over , I don't miss them days tacking ceilings up all day with a 16oz eswing no wonder elbows are now goosed

I did one a while back in an upstairs bedroom, the loft was absolutely rammed to the hilt with shite, and the woman came across as a know all who listens to no one. I didn't tape the heads individually but just ran the tape the length of the board covering them. Been back since to do another room as they are all popped and the one we taped is sound.
Haven't used any self adhesives in years, always paper tape and recently fibafuse(sounds like fibre tape). I run all tapes through banjo saves time and applies first coat. Delko Tools now do the banjo and internal attachment in one package. Check out the vids.
