Is this plastering acceptable?

We recently had 3 bedrooms, front room, hallway and landing plastered.

A few days after they left and the plaster began to dry and I noticed alot of imperfections starting to appear. Rough patches, deep marks, areas on the skirting board etc. I contacted the plasterer via email to which he said he’ll rectify any issues after the mist coat.

I followed the plasterers advice and had a decorator fill, sand and apply the mistcoat. After many days, the decorator got the majority of the rooms looking good. However even after that process, the front room ceiling had waves and ripples in the plaster that the decorator could not fix. I contacted the plasterer and explained we had followed his instructions but the results in the front room looked below par. He said he would come and see the problems in person within a week. After countless excuses, six weeks went by with no visit or plans moving forward.

I sent an email requesting a partial refund for the front room so we can get the ceiling redone. He's rejected the request and is willing to go to court.

I’ve attached some photos before the mist coat. I’ll upload some photos of the ceiling separately.
