What kind of areas or buildings are the walls on ?Cheers. You got any tips??
8 bags....oh dear I mixed up two on friday and thought I was doing rather wellDont dry cut your boards as ur only taking them bk off, cant see y people dry cut a load of walls then tack them up as u taking them back off then putting them back on again..we mix 8 bags up then dot away cutting boards as we go along..
Here's a tip!
Take your time on your first board get that level and plum
Once that's on of the rooms fairly square (and I say that loosely)
Set the board at the opposite end of the wall same as the first
Then run a string line at the top from board to board
Then just bang the boards on inbetween
You can set all 4 corners getting everything squared up and fill the boards in the middle after
The time is taken setting the initial 2 boards the rest fly up.
The more you do it the quicker it gets
Might sound like a pain in the arse but in the end you'll get everything spot on and everything square and plum
Or
If you want to be a rough f**k*r
Just slap em on and give no consideration to anything
Used 30 bags other day as all had to be solid bands...#cockswingingcontestbegins8 bags....oh dear I mixed up two on friday and thought I was doing rather well![]()

No time for tht on site mate but if was a job of my own then probably would do thisNot really a tip for speed, but have a clean bucket of water to hand and a sponge. Wipe any muck off the boards so they look nice and tidy. Looks rubbish when the boards are covered in adhesive.
It is knauf most of time.Miles quicker..just get in mix up (not knauf shite) go in a room and stick away and try get reveals with the 1st mix
Tell them to get gtech...100xs better than knauf..knauf is by far worst adesive on market in every wayIt is knauf most of time.
It does sound better to be fair so im not doing things twice
Cant believe ur contemplating running a chalk line thruNo time for tht on site mate but if was a job of my own then probably would do this

Id never use a chalk line or laser level dont get paid enough..shud be competent enough to get a skirting line square with fcking about doing thatDo what kitchy says, you are only lifting the boards once then.
If you f**k about with lasers or chalk lines, well best of luck......
8ft edge and crack on.
Could even cut reveals before you mix up, stick them on with the flat walls first mix so you can dab the window walls second mix.
And it's quicker on your own too. Unless you have a lad that you can trust to cut correctly.
