Dot and dab advice

Hi All,

Old house had plaster removed in kitchen to have full length damp membrane fitted.
Plasterer has come to dab and dot the plaster boards to membrane. I'm concerned because walls are so out he's having to use some really thick dabs in places.
Can anyone advise if thick dabs will be secure over the long term?
Thanks

You will need it plumb

It needs solid bands @ tower height /wall units
Solid bands @ worktop height ....

You will never get a fixing otherwise .....

Not if there only just catching the board . They'll be hanging by a thread

You're on big trouble if he's dab and dotted it.

Meant to dot and dab.

Now there's no telling what will happen
