Brick Wall plaster patch

See pics please...
Was a damp patch (water leak through gutter) leak all fixed and just scraped the loose stuff off and gave a good scrape.
Will multi finish be okay to skim over with or anyone recommend anything else?
Someone had said about lime plaster to use...coving will be going on so not worried about the corners that touch ceiling.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

No it's definitely brick behind it mate, walls are solid
