If we’re being encouraged to go back to work but the schools are still closed and you can’t see immediate family and friends, who looks after the kids?

what if you live with someone who is shielding because they are vulnerable, are you still meant to go work ??

It’s general guidance isn’t it, he can’t make it applicable to every single household. he said go to work if you can, I don’t see the confusion with it, it’s down to you to sort it out with your employers if you can or not if your not furloughed. I’m far from a boris fan but I can’t see what else he can say.
