Has AI Changed your life?

let it go GIF
@Monkey Boy will be putting that in his wank bank

I can tell you exactly how AI has affected my life. I no longer believe the authenticity of any photos or videos I see.
Basically everything we see or watch on a screen could be fake.
I actually believe that AI will lead to the collapse of civilisation as well know it.
Think we have been heading that way without AI Andy this is the end looming so sad man has ruined a beautiful world and modern day politicians ( say no more )

I have been using it from the very beginning to do a mass of tasks that I have always found boring.... AT teh time I did not think it would be as good as it is right now as quick as it has gone.

In my web media business I use it daily to build plans and strategies and what not. IN My Bee business i use it to help me learn the science behind bees and honey.

I have many youtube channels that now use AI to smart clip and cut and edit videos to be better for users...

A really good friend of mine who is a very highly paid Gov lawyer (a good guy who chases companies for peoples pensions when they go bust) told me that his job will never be replaced...

Roll on to this week and he sends me over 2 massive PDF and asks me to get AI to compare the 2 and give him detailed reports on the differences.... few moments later I posted it back and he was blown away by how good it is and how well it had done it explain that that it would be a few weeks worth of work for him....

I know chippies are using AI to work out falls and other maths calculations on their projects...

Architects and interior designers are using it....

Google has started to lean on AI more for its search results...

What about Plasterers? Is there place for it here???
I did try AI with my Danish porcelain sales. It was nice and quick, a bit over the top with my usual type of sale information. The next day I received emails complaining about using AI. I had to returned to my own methods.

AI is just a search engine chatbot; it's the natural progression of Google. First you had to search with literal keywords; then Google became a bit smarter with semantic searching (searching for meaning rather than keywords) and AI now is just an advanced form of semantic searching and they made it into a chat format because there's always a teacher and a learner. Learning is a conversation. When you sit at the computer terminal, you're essentially also "chatting" to the terminal when you're typing command and the computer returns results.

There's absolutely nothing spooky about it. It's literally just a f**k**g library. But it's all the libraries around the world combined as well as the librarian you get to talk to as well as all the people who wrote the books that went into the libraries to begin with. You're just talking to a representation of the world's knowledge.

It's literally just an advanced encyclopedia.

Do I use it? Of course. It's a lot faster than Google and it's able to synthesize information from different sources and present it reasonably logically and coherently. It's the fasted way to learn new things. And in (lime) plastering, I'm always learning.

You clearly know fuckall about the subject of AI. Go away and watch/listen to the real AI experts and then come back and say that it's just an upgraded search engine.

you seem pretty touchy btw; seems like someone got a lot of money invested into a massive bubble

My daughter is in her first year at university studying History, She assured me that all work she submits is checked for AI.
Can she just change some words and say some of the same things in a slightly different way ? I know they are very keen on crediting original work by other authors.

I don't know all the details personally but Universities have a software package that identifies content ( keywords etc) to identify plagiarism.
