BG state multi finish IS suitable to spray

If I spray multi again it will only be with the addition of extratime it's the only way I can see it working.
I found spraying ceilings with mp finish fairly clean but you must have the speed, air and consistency bang on.
One thing about spraying ceilings is it gives me arm ache in no time.
Have you used the the thistle spray finish ?

Hmmmmm wondered why you were getting a machine can we expect a new vid?
I been asking people for a while , everyone that has sprayed or sells a machine keeps going on about spraying multi when thistle spray has been out for a while yet no one ever says they use or have used it I don't get why they don't especially the machine sellers.
That's why I going to hire machine and order a pallet myself .
Only found a couple of threads on here from the past and most the people of them threads aren't on forum anymore and the ones that are obviously prefer the knauff stuff which ain't for me.

Nice mate! It's that good eh. Have you got a sprayer sorted?

Not yet I have a few lined up to have a look at. It's good. I'd like to see a video of the eze doing airless. Am going to look in to the pft swing airless to. Graco airless sprayer a petrol one I can get it for £1200 but am not sure about how the petrol engine would work out on some jobs.

Petrol will be noisy and smelly. Still good but I think I'd rather have electric.

From everyone been saying in the threads it's going on a few mm on perfect plaster board not over crap walls re skims and artex
I spoke to a knauf tech rep and they say apparently it's great on reskims as long as the suction is sorted.
I'm with you Pete...when trying to research machine plastering no one seems to use the gear meant for it...no one uses machines on reskims (why?) and no plaster seems quite suitable.

Apparently BG spray finish is the one...but no one uses it......!!??!!

Airless guys...do you have to go round pre filling shite boardwalk that joiners/builders have done?
What if you're looking for perfection and you sand the stuff too much right down to the boardwork?

Said before all seems strange to me, everyone says it sprays it all over the place messy makes me think maybe it's the machine used are to powerful for thistle spray.
That's what hopefully I going to find out.

I hope you find the answer and will give us an impartial feedback on it

U can use bonding to Straighten out bad board work and use airless over that. No different to multi. The way people talk about multi on here U think u could Straighten bad bored work with it.

The airless are using smaller machines I.e the Graco and there are other smaller machines on the market too, maybe people probably say it's impossible as the other machines are bigger I'll try all of them I know might think I am mad but there are plenty of spreads that would do it if it can work

Would airless be okay going over these ?
BG state multi finish IS suitable to spray

I know it might be hard to say off picture

Don't think there's any point spending thousands on an airless machine unless that's all your going to do.
We need an airless demo in England

No problem going over that. U can spray on airless backing coat for your first coat then finish it with airless finish plaster. But if it's just one room I'd just use multi.
So if it was walls like that would thistle spray do it in one spray ?
And the airless would in two coats ? Is that what you are saying

It would but you try pricing three visits...two to spray one to sand...what do you think the customer is going to say after your first spray? He's gonna say "that looks shite now f**k off"...
Y will it look s**t after the first spray??

I don't know I never sprayed on a reskrim just now board work with mp finish. But I would think u could do it with one coat with thistle spray. It would take 2 coats with airless.

Just my logic.
If it needs two sprays THEN sanding down...it can't possibly look any good after one spray with no sanding down.
I did a wall today and it didn't need any sanding. If you only do small jobs a room here and there it's not for you. If you do full house's or bigger jobs it's the way forward.

I guess you just have to explain to the customer...this ain't gonna look finished for a few days so don't panic.
Just doesn't feel right...

Go have a look at it the finish is top end. It's a level 5 finish skim is a level 4 finish.

Don't get me wrong...it looks great....but where can I see a demo? Don't think there is anywhere is there?
