I found my suppler of Strata very helpfull i must say.Any issues i had was always dealt with and nothing a problem.I am open to offers as i found the machine very good once you have everything set up.Saying that mishaps do happen.
Anybody interested in a strata machine only used 4 times in Ireland.Genuine reason for selling super machine if anyone interested.Complete with generator,30 m hose,3 sprayers, acrylic sprayer and two 5v transformers
yeah nothing like standing back and seen your own f##k up.We have straighten walls after brickies so the best of luck.Old saying stick to what you know.Best of luck.
Deposit is the only way pop92 is bang on.This sorts out time wasters and agonising over assholes just using you when they have no intensions of giving you the job.
Labouers become spreads and there for no apprentices required and trade ends up with a bad name, prices fall and so do standards. It absoulutly recks my head when some claims to be a plasterer and really there only a glorified labourer. If you want to last in plastering during your life time you...
I use to play 10 pin bowling and there was a guy on our team called Paddy(obviously) who would lock his left leg out on his approach when trowing the ball so i name hime Paddy leg lock.Bumped into him at a funeral and told me he is still known as Paddy leg Lock 20 yrs later.
another plasterer was the greatest moaner ever, glass always half empty guy so he was known as the grump. When his mad son started with us after a few weeks the grump got annoyed with the son and asked him at tea time Robby what are you going to be a labourer or a plasterer, son replied

We name a tight arsed rubber neck plasterer who never brought in tea bags or milk for years and would always ask everyone else for some so he was christened The Rubba(rubber neck) and his miserable son was the same so he was The young Rubba.
Has anyone given or been given a nickname that stuck or heard funny stories of names given to someone. When I was serving my time nearly everyone had been given a name based on what they did or what they are remember for doing wether it was said to their face or not was another thing.

dont go near it mate as they will go through it with a fine tooth comb and it's seriously not worth the grief.I get ask to rectify other people's shoddy work because they were cheaper or a builders mate. Now I just say too busy get the guy who did it to fix it and I'll do t your next job
Best of luck Keith. Its the best bit of kit you will ever buy.Take your time in set up and go through every step twice.tape up electric point and tap and kill anyone who touches them. Most important do not reduce rates because you can cover more than hand balling.
i agree with Big k and mag, moisture has to be getting in somewhere and lodges in the mortor joints because the walls cant breath ,also it is too thin and thats why all garden walls with one coat of sand and cement always shows the blockwork.
Putting mono on by hand with no experience will break your heart. We did large jobs 20 odd yrs ago with monocucche(by Hand) and it was a nightmare also trying to convert guys from s&c to mono was a task in its selve and they where bloody good trades men.Even the labourers where hard to keep an...
