    N.Ireland Plastering NVQ free

    A college I work with are now able to give Experienced plasterers an NVQ L2 in Plastering for free. It can be done in 2 days ( 1 site assessment and 1 interview) or 1 day practical assessment. Get qualified, never know when you will need it.

    Coal bunker

    Had scrap plywood and eml left over. So put together a we coal bunker. Still has to be dashed to match the house. I put a ledge inside leaning away from the door so it dsoesn't spill out. Waterproofer of course in the scratch. Save the £££ :RpS_laugh:

    Anyone good with materials per m2

    I have roughly 32m2 of an area to cover. Need to put on a butter coat then wet dash with 6mm chips. The mix is 3 stones, 2 sand and 1 cement. Anyone have an idea how many bags of cement I would need and how much sand or chips

    Finally after a lot of research, there seem to be 3 fav ratios for wet dash. Stones:Sand:Cement 3:2:1 or 4:2:1& half lime or 3:3:1:1. which i new which one was the best but I will have to try one. Also does anyone know if the mix will fit in a one bag mixer
