is it me or is scrim crap nowerdays im findin when scrimin over cracks in old ceilins plasterboard mostly they seem 2 reappear when paintin im doin everything as years ago and this has only started happenin recently im usin wickes stuff any ideas on where to get decent scrim ??? ???

just finished a re skim of a bedroom pva'd yesterday went back 2 finish last couple of walls today and 1 wall pva had frozen anyone had this before turned out ok just wiped wall down with rag and skimmed as normal :o been doin this job 20 years never came across this before

after using hardwall in a kitchen to straighten out the walls all 7 bags on a 4m by 3m walls real rough walls and sayin in another topic that i hated it now i have to hold my hands up and admit i was wrong and have realised it aint bad stuff after all even say its better than carlite ??? ??? :-\ :-\

is it just me or is hardwall rubbish and gets everywhere i must be old school and like carlite bonding :'(
