I use an 18x4 perma for putting on and laying in then drop down to 14 gold for the rest normally but I'm trying out the speedskim at the moment as I'm getting old and tired.
Give a block price. Do it well.do it quick. He's already happy with your work so you should be able to get a decent price of him. M2 prices when given can be used against you especially if he listens to pub talk .ie poles work for x amount per m2

I'm not a Jub applicator. But how long between priming and finish. If primer not allowed to cure this could be the case.or humidity on the primer.its hard to know without pics. Bad luck though.
Yeah use the heavier rockwool baffles(120) fire line slab then the gypframe and a soundbloc board and as long as the kitchen ceiling is the only problem and sound isn't resonating through somewhere else ie walls, partitions etc.

All the manufacturers that I have used have allowed between 2 / 3 month s for ageing. Boards tend to shrink over time. I ve never been offered new or (unaged) boards though.

Sounds like it was dried 2 quickly(you returned 6 or 7 days after),this time of year they should be ok unless theres also movement in the substrate.Did you "cork" fill the joints prior to skimming ?This can help .
I seen a sparks get get van gough ed by my apprentice after the lad told everyone on site the door way was off limits.
And another subbie slip on plastic while on stilts both have learned a valuable lesson and recovered.
If your asking your probably not quite there yet. Quality is everything. Split it to 3 sets if need be better to be there a little bit longer and probably get recommended to their friends and family for doing a stand out job. Speed comes but quality should always be there.
Be careful using bonding on external wall especially if liable to some breathing if an old house or damp.ie bathrooms if using make sure you seal it well and do a good grout job on the tiles.best of luck

As long as the bonding was either wet again or ambient temperature was n't to warm its cool,and the multi did n't fry on the bonding its cool.In the OLD days that was normal. ie sand N cement is supposed to be left for 28 days
