Ah yeah its just life isn't it.
A biggish job with about two months work fell through on us at the last second and then with all the bad weather before Christmas three private house that should of been ready before now aren't even ready yet so left a bit of a hole to be filled.
As always...
Only kidding anyways. Unfortunately work has been held up here a lot since Christmas and only going to get back into a right run of it on Monday so like the song goes "money's too tight to mention".
Ah not that bad but a busy while ahead so it will be head down for a while like.

Unfortunately there has been a serious increase in the amounts of suicide cases in our part of the country over the last twenty years or so.
Fortunately though depression is no longer a (dirty word) and there is far more understanding and people are far more educated towards it.

As the lads say the books wouldn't be much use to you. It's as much about the feel of the trowel and experience wich you only gain through practice
I have a Nela mediflex for about the last six months or so.
Only really use it on the last trowel and find you can finish a bit sooner with it. As in less black in the wall.
I will say this though it's not always suitable. Sometimes you do need the good old reliable Marshaltown for the gauge...
