As Spit said, it's all about building up a relationship with the merchant. If you walk into any merchants straight off the street the prices will appear crazy expensive compared with what you'll pay as an account customer with a good relationship. I doubt many people pay the prices Jewsons have marked up on the shelf? Same could be said for Travis, MKM etc.

No trades pay prices on the shelves mate. You’ve got to be a complete mug. I’ve always personally found sons of Jews the most expensive and crappy customer service. Also I don’t like Tottenham.

I knew the root of your dislike of Jewsons was Tottenham/religion based.
I've not dealt with any merchant who gives me better prices than Jewsons across the board.

My dad had the same problem with his van, tried everything new fuel pump etc sold it and lad that bought it solved it.
Had a oil leak from the sump, if oil is low computer thingy protects and cuts it out.
Fixed weep on sump with that liquid metal stuff for a couple of quid sorted.
Dad was fuming.

Sorted it after a load of faffing about ! Immobilized wasn't recognising key so found sequence of key positions and how long for and it starts straight away again !

Don't know about you but I miss old school vehicles, no diagnostics etc.
Only a couple of additions that I like are power steering, electric windows and wing mirrors.
I also miss the good old cassette radio.

My grandson has just purchased a new transit he chose the 8 speed auto with 3 seats in the front. Grey colour. He has put the full body kit on his one.
