too much water and no skimming left?

Every mix up the last bit of skimming and you had too much water in the bucket ,now you have a half bucket of p155 and you need it to lay your last piece down, ???,keep mixing and add some pva as you mix and it will tighten up nicely

Good one that its happened to me once a few years ago had some board addy left so i put it in,it was a right b*****d to use.

Good tip if it works, always get too much gear rather then too little but if this tip works, diamond

Never a problem,BIG BAD BILL. Never had a bother with weak skimcoat no matter what ,it dried ,it got painted and that was it, wasnt using it to hold an RSJ up,it was just skimming :
