Ive got a small gable to render its got a very thin coat of S&C on it which has cracked and letting in water, the render will be impossible to get of because of the thickness so i am going to take the paint of and thin coat acrylic it what is the best stuff to use to prep mesh and flatten it.

quartzgrund primer then primo basecoat with mesh then topcoat with the primer you wont have to remove the paint

can you do away with the quartzgrund and just use adhesive coat straight over with mesh incorporated. It would be quicker than a basecoat

no you need the primer and by base i meant adhesive coat like lac but primo version

well say adhesive coat then instead of base. there is an actual product called base coat so you can imagine my confusion. and balls to the quartzgrund adhesive will work fine or you can now get a high bond basecoat so there there and there
