Unfortunately I reckon most blokes on here have experienced the exact same thing. Young lads want £150 a day just to get out of bed and stand around dossing and p1ssing about on their phones all day.

I had a lad call me a few years ago looking for some labouring work, turns out he’d been working with some renderers and kinda worked out what they was earning, anyway they fcucked him off. Things sounded good until the question of money came up and I asked him how much he was looking for. £150 a day no tools no transport, oh and it had to be cash so he could sign on!!!!!!
And that’s what we’re up against.
Plus idiots working for beer tokens

I'd say yes, for a rare one.


One that's able to keep 2 or 3 blokes going, and is clean and makes teas/coffees.

I’d say about 100 tops for a good labourer whos got something about them. After that really they should be more than handy with a trowel and shouldn’t need babysitting
