The scale of the problems from the government mandated insulation schemes run through the energy companies over the last 10 years are now becoming apparent: Up to 98% (!!) of houses with external wall insulation applied through these schemes have damp problems, and close to 30% of homes with internal wall insulation.

Almost all the issuesd caused by applying non-breathable inulstaion materials to older properties, in many cases excerbated by poor instalation practices. Dry rot just one of many examples below.
