King of all trades at your service, what you need?
Guys I need some advice please.I am not a plumber but here goes.
There is a seriously bad stench come from my bathroom when I have a shower or drain the bath.I have stripped all the internal plumbing to check it was clear and it is as clean as a whistle.I also plunged the bath and sink and next to nothing came through. My bath is not slow to drain and the shower is over over the bath. What could be the cause.

Is the stack clear , rod outside from man hole ,
Waste backing up pushing foul air out into room

Air admitance ( no roof vent )
Thought that'd only cause a problem with flushing toilet @ChrispyUK , not enough volume from shower ?

Process of elimination dear boy

Yes toilet fine when flushed and there is a roof vent.
Assume the foul air is being forced out of bath or sink overflow , block and eliminate each in turn , start with bath , just to see where it's coming from , bit early for birds nest in roof vent
