so started a job on monday, fixed price, allowed 5 days, now going into next week 2 days extra,

mentally feel 35 years old, but reality is i am 65 years old, and while this job would have been finished on time in budget a few years ago, father time is catching up with me now, still feel i can do it but reality is different,

just pleased that i am just doing 1/2 days a week now, a bit pocket money, even doing ceilings now , i get a fellow spread in , and we help each other, he is same age as me, at one time we would have knocked these jobs out,

roll on the weekend , and a pint of real ale,

How old are you mate?
I think we all have to accept that we slow down as we get older, I've really noticed it the last three years.

65 years old andy,
Well I think you're doing just great still getting out there mate. I've been on a four day week for a couple of years now and am planning on gradually winding down on the plastering side of things over the next few years and concentrating on working on the lake/land.
Keep on doing as much as you can, or want to mate, I reckon you'll live longer doing so. Hopefully you'll stay fit enough to plod along. I reckon that's a good call having someone to team up with as and when you need.
