One coat has got to be easy than 2 coat

Don’t need to coats in this weather it’s warm enough. Maybe winter if the second coat will fit over the first coat. I recommend I size up on the second coat.

Blatenly a controversial thread to get us all going but ok I’ll bite. It takes me longer to do 1 coat than it does 2.

I one coated a boarded bathroom the other day set took 2.10...builder I worked for painted it other day and said it looks pucker...made me think

No s**t sherlock, I don't do 1 coat so don't have a system. I'm not knocking it, I'm actually interested to hear about it

Here is 1 coat today. Took me f**k**g 3h! I am getting slow .......but then I hate skimming. Maybe is the lack of enthusiasm :rolleyes:

No , gear is fine that just the trowel going from one set to another and obviously the first one will be slightly drier especially next to the corner, but I couldn’t care less, it dries good and one colour.
