Done some lime work over the years but never really enjoyed it…… did a small job a few weeks ago using warmcote then limecote on an internal which are modern versions and was impressed. Anybody else used these?

Work wise; partway through boarding a decent size self build. Next Tuesday start a 152sqm screed. Once upon a time that would have been an early finish on Wednesday, but not anymore. Three days on that.
I have a few jobs like that at home to do... slowly ticking off those jobsskimming spare bedroom at home, been empty/carpets up/all ready to go for approx 7 years now, something always seems to come along to cause delay, but started now, finished ,cleaned up this week,
Yes mate, all put through our big diesel mixer, barrowed in and laid.Yeah I have bee binning loads off :-\
152m2 screed.... is that mixed and laid on site?
Most people round here are using liquid screed now
Wtf? Really? Surely liquid is perfect level ..Yes mate, all put through our big diesel mixer, barrowed in and laid.
Quite a few builders are using traditional screeds again around here. I've seen some horrific liquid screeds. Did you know that the tolerance is greater for a liquid screed than a sand and cement screed? Makes you think doesn't it?
Nope, I've seen some proper horrors.Wtf? Really? Surely liquid is perfect level ..
Couple of the ones I have seen are as wet as water...
A builder I know will only work off liquid screeds because he likes fitting kitchens as he knows the floor will be perfect straight away
Nope, I've seen some proper horrors.
The screed isn't supposed to be as wet as water, they should do a slump test before pouring.
oh right... well wonder how long they will last now :-\Nope, I've seen some proper horrors.
