Hi lads
I have finally got round to finishing my Hall Stairs and Landing ( https://www.plasterersforum.com/threads/hardwall-or-bonding.94676/#post-1590778 ) and have a couple of questions.
All wooden lintels etc. have been boarded and a couple of walls I will do in Bonding as there's more board than brick.
The main Stair wall would probably be easier to do with hardwall but I gave the walls a weak coat of PVA (1 part Pva to 4 parts water) to kill the dust. Is it ok to Hardwall over this? The wall still have some suction. Do I need more PVA on the bits I will be doing with Bonding
The Plasterboard has been up for 6 Months. I have been caught out with dry Plasterboard sucking like a b--tard before so will give it a coat of PVA before skimming. What ratio should I use and should I skim when tacky or let it dry first.
Thanks Rob
