Does it take 7 bags to skim a 50sqm ceiling onto plasterboard then? Takes 5 at most doesn't it, so I've added something correct on plastering

Look on the bag.. one bag does 10m, thats 2 coating it..
50m = 5 bags.
But I find can do more than bag states...
