how to know if the plasterboard is for external alfresco area

Happy New Year, all. Does anyone know if the plasterboard is for an external alfresco area? Given that the alfresco is over 10 years old, there is no label or manufacturer name on the plasterboard.

no stamp or print. I went to Bunnings today, and the guy in the plasterboard area told me that the plasterboards are all the same meaning the same plasterboards are used for both internal and external. Is he right?

What people use and what is correct are often to very different things.
Use Gyprock Aquachek.
You could used internal but you could end up with problems, m8.

Thanks! Is there any building code to require a particular type of plasterboard for external use? How to tell whether the current plasterboard is Gyprock Aquachek?
