Hi all,
I'm new here and am after some advice please. Was planning to skim one of my bedrooms but when I removed some shelving a fair amount of plaster has come off, back to the brick. I've removed everything that's loose and the rest all seems solid. After some advice on best option to patch this please. Would I be ok bonding some plasterboard in there or does it need sand/cement rendering then skimming? They're solid walls so want to avoid any issues with damp. Ideally I'd put some internal insulation in there but the room's tiny already so planning to insulate it externally in a few years time.
Cheers
