I.d slash me wrists if I had to do that much . Don't even think I could do that muchMix ourselfs
Always done 3 hits back in day in a gang or me and another spread but these days I'm domestic so different way to work plus with sites and way they are now can't start til 8 cut off at 4 it's hard to get the 3 sets in I remember back 12-15 years ago we would turn up at 6.30-6.45 open up gate with scaffold spanner and go in and start and work late if we wanted but now it's to hard with all the health and safetyNothing wrong with 3 sets
I dont look at it like that we go into a new plot and can tell how many bags it needs sometimes the last hit in a plot is only 3 bagsI.d slash me wrists if I had to do that much . Don't even think I could do that much

In some ways I miss the days we was in a gang knew what we was gonna do and go for it once unit nearly finished one would go into other unit and start beading scrimming up loading out sometimes we had two units on go at once but when recession hit it went well down hill and i sort of drifted into domestic and that's where I have stayed don't miss the arguments over water and power thoughDone it since i was 18

Is that standard? Providing your own power? I worked on a big site and I had to get a generator to mix up and get lights on, I hated every minute of it, the site agent was horrible and everything was hard work even parking the van was a mission all the subbies seemed to just accept that they were being used and treated like s**t. One of the bigger sites I've been on.Have my own genny and a 100 meter hose
I thought sites are meant to provide you with Power. I know I've been on one's that don't, and some that will supply it if u torture them, but are quite happy for you to use your own. Last big site we were on they loaned us out Gennys, we'd have to put petrol in right enough, though they had bigger diesel ones about too if u had enough leads and they filled them up.Is that standard? Reading through this I’m beginning to wonder if iv been doing to much all these years 3 gauges a day and normally 6-7 bags on site work or new builds was just the way I was taught also to a high quality at the same that’s maybe why at the age of 30 my body is done knees back etc and that’s only the skimming 3 tubs of mortar a day when floatingJust wondered what everyone can get on plaster board and to a high standard . I know site plastererd can throw it on just wondered average .between me n mate we can get between 8 n 10 bags . . Depending on weather . That's 2 gauges
Just read through this ur all nuts
Your just right it’s a marathon not a sprint I’m only just realising that lately after a few health problems just do a honest days work now and go home not going to kill myself to line someone else’s pocketDomestic work only. If I do 3 bags in a day i get a nose bleed . Doing empty 3 bed house. Can come and go . Makes a change no hoovering up every night.

8 bags of Hardwall just to bring it out level with the blockwork! I’ve still to float it.
