How many bags a day

Just wondered what everyone can get on plaster board and to a high standard . I know site plastererd can throw it on just wondered average .between me n mate we can get between 8 n 10 bags . . Depending on weather . That's 2 gauges
 
How many bags a day
 
18 bags first to warm up then i'll bash on 34 bags quickly while I'm at it il go next door f**k up there house think ahhhh f**k it I'll s**t on 17tons of render knock it up by hand s**t it on the walls and f**k off home in a police car.

But could ye do that if other house was on a different street
 
The less the better I was fuming when I had to do a bag and half the other day my days of being in a gang doing massive hits are over I don't wanna be that bloke with arm support knee support looking haggard at 50

I know what ue mean I used to work by me sen . Thought note to doing long days and 3 to 4 gauges. Now starting to pay price bit got a lad with me and only do 2 gauges. Though I do day rate now not price as most of jobs I.m on have the can't do that wall yet cause plumber or sparky need to do something

I don't think I would earn over a £10 these days on price work I done it for 8 years solid massive hits then went domestic and builders which is better for me although I do 6-7 days a week most weeks cos I just can't say no and when it comes to it I regret saying yeah I do it got this til mid September at the min

Stick to domestics me, very occasionally I do bigger industrial unit/factory/public building such as a library with bigger hits but it's always just me and a labourer very rare I get more than 5 bags on a day. Usually 2 gauges unless there's something smaller in an afternoon I can knock up with some dirty water, I wanna be away for half 4
 
If you been doing it 15 years and don't know what you can spread then you doing something wrong

:oops: mad world sir i went from £3 skimming on site.
got fed up traveling back down to some fella who pays £2.25 !!!
1 hoose then im gone.
got offered 90 plots at £2.50....but with retention.
i give up ...getting sick of chasing money.
 
I been doing 18 years I've gone from wanting to do loads to wanting to do the bare minimum with what I can get away with I say job is 2 days I do in 2 days but it's at my price or rate not theirs cos once on day work some builders I've come across think they own you on day work and to me if a builder says 8-4.30 and I finish at 3.45 there is no way I'm doing another mix maybe prep up for next day but that's it

That's why I gave it up pay less tax retention citb arguing over the units not being ready or such poor board work they agree day work to sort out before skimming and never getting it when I started 18 years ago the blokes got 4.50 skimming and anything over 3.2m they got extra can't remember floating price but would say around £12m I was only labouring then and you knew when they was going on holiday ect cos we would do an extra hit at 1-1:30pm every day cos before health and safety went mad we was on site 6.30/7 and 2 big hits prep for next day gone by 2/3 most days now it's 8 start 4.30 finish cos they locking up

Firm were with sounds golden. We get there 7 45 . . On it for 8 . Done for 3 30 . Meant to be 4 but he knows we can't do much . Get any prepping done when ye get 2 mins
 
I've done 7 bags today on board. About 2 hawkfulls of waste.

Loft conversion last week I done 10 bags in a day but was big walls and the ceiling took 4.5 bags. All on board.

I usually average 6 bags a day Max on straight skimming that's more than enough for me.

You strike me as a 3 sets a day kinda guy? Putting in long hours.

Ive limeted myself 2 nice sets most days now bigger one in the morning and smaller In the afternoon. I still do 3 setters on price work if I'm set up for it.

Long hours are often done but I enjoy doing a long day one day short day the next feels like I've earned it hahaha

The trick is to use as little bags as possible and get as much money you can for it.
