I got told yesterday using a bigger trowel works your wrist and elbows more! :-\ Now if this is the case i'm wondering why? Anyone can shed some light on this theory would be most helpfull.

I would imagine its because you are pushing more area up the wall it makes ligther work using a smaller trowel but you have to find a happy medium i get on with a 13x5 i do use a 14 on float and set only on the roughing then back to the 13 on the finish.
