It hangs over it a littleHow does it create a little overhang?
Hi Tom, could you put up a photo or drawing of what you've described?Hi, I’m Tom and new to the forum.
I wondered if anybody has used a profile bead to create a little overhang for a rendered top of a parapet/balustrade on a little balcony. Trying to make this more water tight.
Worst idea ever @ rendered tops = should of gone to specsaversHi, I’m Tom and new to the forum.

Sorry , I thought I’d uploaded this photo in the first post.
LolIt hangs over it a little
You shut up@spunky shut up
Keep em coming palJust to completely overthink everything you could set a 15mm timber up flush with the top of the wall
Then add another strip to the side of the timber overshooting it by 10 15mm
Render it scrape the top carefully take the timber off hopefully it doesn’t all fall apart lol
Stand on an external bullnose angle trowel to open it up a bit give it a sharpen with a file and scrape the edge with this to give you a bit of a bullnose
Or just leave a nice sharp edge forget the second piece of timber and watch the kids running into it when there out playing in the garden![]()
