Repair render below dpc

Hi, I’m new to the forum. I worked in a foundry for 15 years as a mould-maker, using plaster to make jackets for silicone moulds, but I only have basic diy experience when it comes to plaster in the home. I need to fill some gaps in the exterior render of my property, underneath two door frames and below the dpc; can anybody recommend the best filler to use?

Thanks

Hello. This post has been up for 8 months, but doesn’t seem to have generated any views or replies. Can I just check if anyone can actually see the post?

Personally I would hack it off and repoint as you my end up breaching the DPM...

But if you want to just mix up some sand cement and patch it in, smooth with a sponge and paint it black like the rest of it :D

As Danny has said, just remove shot pointing then rake out the joints/remove loose, then re-point.
I wouldn't render just point only, if it looks badly stained after pointed/ cleaned up just paint it with a quality external paint.
